Buying Intensity Index™

The Buying Intensity Index (BII) approach “smooths” historical data, such as market volume, to get a better trend. The BII approach has been proven in exhaustive testing to produce trends that have lower errors and less variability. A BII analysis is done for each market and produces a set of weights or indices intended for application in monthly trend-based demand forecasting. These weights can be easily incorporated into your existing forecasting process and models.
